The rules for using berlinems.org. Short version: this site provides information only, it is not a substitute for calling 911.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using berlinems.org ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Berlin Area Ambulance Association Inc. ("Berlin EMS," "we," "us"), an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Berlin, Pennsylvania and Somerset County.
2. This site is not for emergencies
The Site provides general information about our organization, services, and programs. It is not a substitute for emergency medical care or 911 services.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not use contact forms, email, or social media to report an emergency. Messages sent through this Site may not be monitored around the clock.
3. Content and accuracy
We work to keep Site content accurate and current, but we make no warranties that the information provided is complete, current, or free of error. Service hours, program availability, and response statistics shown on the Site are informational and subject to change without notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to report emergencies or time-sensitive medical situations
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through Site forms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Site systems or data
- Interfere with the Site's operation through automated tools, scraping, or denial of service
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Berlin EMS or use our name and marks without permission
5. Intellectual property
All original content on the Site, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Berlin EMS or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may share links to public pages of the Site. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify Site content for commercial purposes without written permission.

The Site contains links to third-party websites such as the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search, the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Somerset County. We provide these links for convenience only. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
